AariCatter Studio is a design studio specialising in graphic design, illustration and animation, vehicled by the digital artist: Seahorse Person (that's me!).

Aari is a catter (cat and otter) who is the mascot and identity of the studio brand. You will see her face everywhere online as a secondary identity!

Seahorse Person is a graphic designer, illustrator and animator. They create characters, usually involving humans, anthropomorphic creatures, and animals – creating visual environmental illustrative backgrounds and various graphic designs and animations to tell their stories and personalities.

Seahorse Person prefers to use traditional textures like pencil or ink, thick-to-thin line work, crosshatching and halftone dots to mimic their style inspirations: Western superhero comics and Japanese manga. Focusing on linework, on shapes and form, lighting and shadows, and trying to play dynamically with perspectives. These designs can be a broad range between cute down to horror.

Seahorse creates their work to share their stories to viewers. To share relatable experiences and perspectives. Each story has a purpose to either explore a real experience, to challenge social barriers and viewpoints, and express emotions that hopefully the viewers can feel. Seahorse loves to find new ways and methods of creating art and enjoys jumping outside their comfort zone for a new opportunity to improve their art journey.

In summary: They're a Seahorse who draws a lot of different things because they love it!
